When you buy a new car. One of the many extras that they try and sell you along with floor mats and roof racks and paint protection is a thing called rustproofing, don’t buy it it’s a complete waste of money.
All vehicles that are coming into Australia from manufacturers internationally already have rustproofing to the vehicle. It’s a legal requirement that they have to have done to come into our country, so when you buy this from the dealer on top of what’s already there you’re paying for the same thing to be done twice.
